Juicy Fruit.
I was excited to try an ounce of Juicy Fruit. It is a strain I have had many times through the years. GOOD: smell was on point. Some citrus/pine apple, with the usual Juicy Fruit gum scent. This translates a little to the taste, which is also sweet/citrus on the exhale. But - it is not a treat to smoke... BAD: I hate to say, but this flower is very dry. I tried several nugs, and they are all the same: no moisture or softness left here. I also ordered an eighth of the Purple Urkle, because it's another classic that I have a lot of past experience with - and those buds are fresh, lively and well cured. Not so for the Juicy Fruit. Dryness aside, and the bad smoke aside, many of the buds were also seeded. It is not fun to pick seeds out of the bud, and it is worse to miss them and grind them up. This was my first order. It is pretty unfortunate. I would be disappointed regardless of the price, and won't even give this to my neighbor who doesn't really care. The Purple Urkel is better. The 1g sample of Lava Cake was also decent, but nothing special.
